By securing a dedicated chauffeur standby at every estate, you can enjoy a seamless, worry-free tasting experience across 5 hours and 20 minutes of ground time shared between the world's most renowned whisky houses.

Leg 1: Dornoch to The Macallan — 92 miles (~2 hours)
Leg 2: The Macallan to Aberlour — 4 miles (~10 mins) along the beautiful River Spey corridor
Leg 3: Aberlour to Glenfiddich — 5.4 miles (~11 mins) heading slightly east into Dufftown, the world capital of malt whisky
Leg 4: Glenfiddich back to Dornoch — 101 miles (~2 hours 20 mins) a relaxing post-tasting journey back to Sutherland.

08:30 AM – 10:45 AM Morning departure & Speyside crossing.

After pick-up in or near Dornoch, a comfortable morning drive down the A9, offers sweeping views across the firths before tracing the coastal malt fields into the heart of Speyside.

10:45 AM – 01:15 PM Architectural masterpiece & tasting at The Macallan.

A 2.5 hour stopover at the ultra-premium, subterranean Macallan Estate gives guests plenty of time to admire the iconic grass-covered wave roof, take a curated estate experience and sample limited-expression drams.

Lunch Alternative: The Macallan features a world-class, on-site dining experience, making it the perfect location to combine a premium culinary lunch directly with their high-end dram flights

01:15 PM – 01:25 PM Chauffeur transfer along the Spey.

Transport is on standby for a prompt, scenic 10-minute hop down the road to the historic town of Aberlour.

01:25 PM – 03:00 PM | Boutique heritage experience at Aberlour.

Tucked right beside the Lour Burn, the Aberlour Distillery is highly regarded for its deep, heavy, sherry-cask whisky.

A 1.5-hour window is perfect for a highly personalized boutique tasting and the visit provides an exceptional contrast to the morning’s experience.

The chauffeur will be waiting at the pre-arranged meeting point to ensure a swift departure.

03:00 PM – 03:15 PM Journey into the capital of Malt Whisky.

A short 10-minute drive delivers the pilgrimage into Dufftown, anchoring the tour at one of the founding pillars of commercial single malts.

03:15 PM – 04:45 PM Global icons at Glenfiddich Distillery

The final stop is the historic Glenfiddich Distillery where guests have 1.5 hours to stroll the pristine stone-walled estate, explore the traditional dunnage warehouses and enjoy a curated flight of their legendary, globally revered, aged oak reserves.

04:45 PM – 05:15 PM The post-tasting boarding

A half-hour window for boarding allows time to enjoy some gourmet chocolates and artisan coffee before departing the valley.

05:15 PM – 07:30 PM Scenic chauffeur return.

The driver manoeuvres the 2.15 hour return journey, giving the party an opportunity to unwind and look over the day's purchases before arrival back in Dornoch.
